A sub-freezing and short flight of my drone over Moss Lake in North Carolina. Again, I make the videos for the excuse to make the music that accompanies them.
I really like this one. I had to wait until the snow stopped to fly my drone up to take a look. This is our neighbor’s horse pasture. I don’t recall how I did it, but one of this photo’s pluses is the graininess that give it more of a sense of bleakness.

A short but interesting morning drone flight. The music is produced using a good deal of arpeggio, which always feels like cheating to me.
Short drone hover over autumn forest with the camera pointed down.
Here are video clips taken from my Phantom 3 Pro drone over the past year or so. I set it to my arrangement of “All Along the Watchtower” by Bob Dylan. Making the music is why I do this.
This is a short video taken from a DJI Phantom 3 Plus drone. The music was created with Logic Pro X on a refurbished MacBook Pro. Fun!
Leaves are finally starting to turn in Cleveland County. I included a print of this image as part of an art exhibit at the Cleveland County Arts Council in Shelby. The exhibit featured aerial photography.

A series of Drone captured video clips taken during a foggy morning over Moss Lake, in North Carolina.
This is my arrangement of Kashmir by Led Zeppelin, with assorted drone photography laid over it. The greatest fun is editing the video and images to fit over the music. The next greatest fun is programming the music.Jun 3, 2017
A fly over Yates Mill Pond and to the historic (1766) grist mill. The quadcopter is a DJI Phantom 3 Pro drone. I used Logic X Pro and a Novation Impulse 49 keyboard to make the music.
