These video clips were taken from my DJI Phantom 3 Pro quadcopter during two visits to Shelley Lake, in Raleigh, North Carolina. There are two scenes with two Geese fly – Thus the name.

Drone Approach to Downtown Raleigh
This was a quick flight from Dorothea Dix Park toward downtown Raleigh. It was only 27º(F) so I didn’t fly for very long. Video editing was done with iMovie and the music was created using Logic Pro X.
Lassiter Mill Falls 2017
This was my first serious flight of Velocicopter II, a DJI Phantom 3 Pro, having lost VI in Moss Lake. Less than 2 miles from my home in Raleigh, this was my first serious visit to the old mill falls. I use iMovie to edit the video and Logic Pro X to make the music.
Cherryville New Year’s Shooters Finale 2017
The traditional Cherryville New Year’s Shooters performing to tchaikovsky’s “1812 overture.” Recorded January 2, 2017. The finale was recorded from a Phantom 3 Pro camera drone, from about 120 feet.
A short first flight of my second DJI Phantom 3 Pro, replacing the one that I lost in Moss Lake in October. The music was composed using Logic Pro during a train ride from Raleigh to Charlotte, North Carolina.
Quad Ride

Sunrise over Moss Lake
I have finally started to use a drone for photography. It’s a DJI Phantom 3 Pro quadcopter, especially designed for photography and cinematography. It takes 3992×2992 RAW photos and and 4K video. This photo was taken from North Post Road in Shelby facing East toward to rising sun.
I used Photomatix Pro to post process three exposures of the image – HDR. The effect is a bit exaggerated, but I like the color.

Raleigh in the Sunrise
I woke up early that morning, for no particular reason that I could think of. So I drove over to the Dorothea Dix Campus, set my camera on a tripod and captured this photo. Once home, I performed a good deal of post processing to bring out the color and textures.
